I had to bump this blurb to the top of the page. So far, only one runner has tried to meet the demands made by the bunny slipper kidnapper. Erin has composed a heart-felt rap that should bring a tear to the eye of any criminal. Go get the tissues and click on the link below.
Bunny Slipper Rap

Now about Saturday morning. It seems that besides an army of runners, we are getting an army of bloggers as well. Bobby, Ed, Tatur Dave, and Candice have been doing a great job with tales of their running adventures. From the looks of some of the pictures posted, I am pretty sure I don't want Bobby sitting in my car after a run! I have also noticed a lack of Barbara Streisand and Celine Deon on Ed's playlist! Check out these blogs when you have time.

True to the forecast, there was a 90% chance of darkness at 5:45 am. The 70 degree weather was a bonus!

Brian, to the right, offers anyone interested his last McDonald's french fry.

Kendal turns down Brian's offer and sticks with his energy bar.

We weren't the only ones out for a little pre-dawn exercise.

After we had ran 2 miles, the sun finally made a showing.

Get Fit Tulsa sponsored the Tulsa Run training group this week, and brought some great shirts and hats for door prizes. A well tanned Coach Kathy draws tickets for the prizes.

While several Tulsa Run trainees hope for their name to be drawn for great prizes like FREE Mud Run entries!

While it was yet still cool, and still early, the 8 milers rolled in.

Great photography. The rowing picture or the sunrise shot would make great postcards. Thanks to the course planners we get to see views like this all around us. Stop and look around every once in a while to take it all in.

If anyone is interested in my trying my Access bars, I would be more than happy to tell you all about them and I would even let you try one for yourself. People who have ate them before a run have loved them. They're definatly part of my training regime. Have a great week.

Sincerely
Kendal
